From the people who brought you Robot Unicorn Attack 2 and Giant Boulder of Death — the monsters are back, and theyre dealing out destruction! Pick your favorite kaiju, assemble a deck of special cards and time your attacks to destroy the city. Battle rival players from around the world to decide whos king of the monsters. Unlockable monsters, rare prizes, leaderboards, tournaments and more make this the card game to topple them all!

CHOOSE YOUR MONSTER

Unlock and play as giant, crazy monsters. Each have their own specialized MegaZone attacks, elemental buffs, critical hit chance stats, and bonuses. Earn enough tokens winning matches and you’ll be able to unlock them all. Feed them your unused/unwanted cards to level them up fast and make them even more powerful.

FAST, FURIOUS GAMEPLAY

Each side is dealt three cards (from their deck of 12) and takes turns attacking until just one is left standing. Damage is based on card power, element (blue, red, green, yellow), and your timing on the boost minigame. Each attack builds your monster’s MegaZone meter; when it’s full you can forego the cards and unleash a mega-powered attack that’ll wipe the smile right off that city’s face.

SCALE WEEKLY GLOBAL TOURNAMENT LEADERBOARDS

Pummel opposing cities to increase your metropolis’ population and position in the weekly tournament leaderboards. Even if you lose or are attacked, you’ll gain valuable experience and a couple of precious tokens too. And if you win, you’ll get even MORE experience points and currency. Five leagues (Plushy, Mascot, Monster, Elite and Boss) await!

COLLECT ALL THE THINGS

Four ferocious monsters, over 100 attack cards (with more coming in future updates). Build your City (defense) and Monster (offense) decks any way you like!

TAP TO TOPPLE

When your monster attacks you’ll be prompted to tap the screen at just the right time to boost your card’s stats even higher for a more devastating hit! (And yes there is an option for the slow-reflexed to turn that off.)

CONNECT FOR BONUSES

Connect your Facebook account to get a FREE card, energy, and tokens from your buddies. This also activates cloud save to restore your profile on another device!

Pros and cons of Monsters Ate My Metropolis app for iPhone and iPad

Monsters Ate My Metropolis app good for

Fun game. My only beef is that the red and yellow cards are too similar, they both look orange-ish and Im constantly mixing them up.
After you beat the first city listen to the song playing before you click to proceed. Hilarious!!
Graphics - 7/10 Sound - 10/10 - Corny, but funny. Interface - 8/10 - Easy to use, but it takes a while to learn everything, as there is plenty of stuff to choose and select. Repetitiveness - 9/10 Bugs/Glitches - 10/10 - None yet. Story - N/A Characters - N/A Length - 8/10 - I see no end, but the game isnt one that I want to play through the whole thing. Idea - 6/10 - The monster eating city thing is original, but the battle idea has been used many times. Overall Score - 8/10 (4/5) -Great game, it is enjoyable at least for a while, and I hope to see more games from Adult Swim!
This game is very much like rock, paper, scissors. Though it adds depth through the use of cards and effects that can change outcomes for both your monster and your city. Your job is to attack other citys to gain population while hopefully you make your city stronger by surviving other players attacks. Its a fun game with some crass off the cuff humour thrown in give it a try.
I enjoy the game. Its entertaining and a good time kill. I guess if I had to say something negative, itd be nice if gems werent quite so expensive. Obviously they need to make money and such, but even Clash of Clans Isnt quite as expensive. (Depending how you play) Other than that, pretty amusing game.
Beef is always strong, but never more so than in this game! Try it!

Some bad moments

All the heal card are op and there is little strategy but alot of luck
They have a cool battle system, but the best cards are locked behind a very steep pay wall or watching a TRUCKLOAD of ads. 1 ad=5 gems, $9.99 is 1,300 gems. A CHANCE for a rare card is 250 gems and 2,500 to auto get one. so yeah. Good luck without forking out mad cash.
The special meter NEVER fills. So what good is it? Im not a new player. Ive been playing for months. I never use the monsters special attacks because the meter never fills. Very disappointing.
The top 3 are always the same people- people who paid for diamond cards
Ive been playing this game for a few months now and Im hopelessly addicted to it. The only problem is the huge amount of your population people take from you when youre offline and theyre attaching your city. Its so bad that usually when you come back to the game a day or two later, youve lost like 50 ranks in the tournament so you basically have to play several times a day to ever get a tier one prize. Other than that minor frustration , the game is awesome.
Can there please be a draw opinion. I am tired of it when me and my opponent is both poison and we dont get hit at the same time. So please can you make a match draw so we (the players) can have a fair game
